After reading on Life According to Frances that she had an encounter with some tree roaches (she is living in Texas), I was so shocked and taken aback when I looked them up on Google image search! EEK! How horrid! I had a little think about what bugs and insect over here in Ireland really freak me out and to be honest… after seeing what some people have to see regularly… none of the bugs here bother me anymore!

It’s just not warm enough for all the huge, exciting ones!

This is what I come in contact with quite regularly:

In order clockwise we have… daddy long legs, an earwig, a woodlouse and a silverfish. Now these are what used to bother me but i feel ridiculous now by the fact that none of them are bigger than 1cm! (Apart from daddy long legs… his legs are long but his body is only a 5mm!).

I am no longer afraid.
