This is Ollie in the bath!  He LOVES the bath :)  We recently bought him this bath support because he had outgrown his baby bath and this way James or I can take a bath with him and not have to worry about him falling under the water etc.  It’s great and he seems [...]

My little man sleeping on his play mat.  Actually he isn’t sleeping.  He is peeking sneakily!  He kind of sleeps with his right eye open ever so slightly.  I think he is afraid of missing something!!

Aptamil is the formula of choice for Ollie… he has had no problems with it and it seems to be easy enough on his little baby tummy.  He goes through a whole box every week now though!  Eek!  Can you say chubby baby?

Ollie’s bedtime routine has not been going well…  in fact it has been going awful!!  I have to give him credit where it’s due for going to bed earlier.  He is going to bed at around 9 at night and I give him a feed again at 11.30 before I go to sleep (sneakily, so [...]

Congratulations to my wonderful husband!  He passed his driving test and we are officially on the road!  Woohoo.  It’s such a cool feeling to know that if we want to go ANYWHERE now we can just jump in the car and be on our way!

Ollie had to get his first set of vaccinations today!  Poor baby!  He got all the normal ones… tetanus, polio, meningitis C etc etc and he was so brave.  I really thought he was going to howl but he didn’t… he only whimpered a bit.  My brave little soldier :)  He has to go [...]

Today was hubby’s first time with the baby carrier.  We had a lovely Sunday.  We walked to the nearby village of Rathmines and it was so hot and sunny outside that we had to stop along the way to buy sunblock for Ollie.  We haven’t had it in the house yet because you just don’t [...]

Today while we were shopping I bought a new Baby Bjorn baby carrier.  It’s WONDERFUL!  Ollie really enjoyed it.  He seemed a little unsure for about 5 minutes and then he loved it.  It is so much easier than pushing a pram because you have both arms free and its also nice to hvae him [...]

Hubby has a hobby making wine… we have tried some weird and wonderful concoctions and last August I made my own… it was an elderflower and tea wine… kind of desert wine-ish.  Anyway… as we were trying to concieve at the time we saved just one bottle and said we would drink it when [...]

Today I took the opportunity to photograph Ollie when he was lying peacefully in one of his relaxed, quiet moods… of which there have not been too many in the past week.  I love this photo of him.  It makes me realise that there ARE times in the day that he is not crying.  I [...]
